Situated atop the picturesque ridges of the Les valley, Bumi Cinta offers a serene escape with breathtaking views of the Bali Sea merging with the horizon.
In Indonesian, “Bumi” means earth and “Cinta” means love, embodying our deep commitment to honoring Mother Earth.
The eco-retreat center was conceived and designed with true sustainability and Earth Love at its core. This philosophy is reflected in the careful selection of the center’s building materials, which primarily consist of bamboo and reclaimed or plantation-grown wood. By making these conscious choices, they ensured that they are not contributing to the destruction of vital rainforest habitats.
At Bumi Cinta, their intention is to create a haven that truly respects and nurtures the planet. Their dedication to environmental stewardship sets them apart, offering guests an authentic eco-friendly experience in harmony with nature.
The huts and bungalows are designed for full nature immersion, with open-air layouts that eliminate barriers between you and nature. While there are no fully enclosed walls or locks, the dedicated Bumi Cinta Team ensures our safety and comfort around the clock, allowing us to connect deeply with the natural world.

Jungle Symphony: Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of nature—birdsong, rustling leaves, playful monkeys, chirping geckos, and little squirrels.

Yoga + Meditation
A variety of types of yoga classes will be offered daily with a bit of variation on excursion days. Expect a blend of movement, meditation and breath work.
Good Food
The culinary experience at Bumi Cinta is crafted by Simon Jongenotter, a visionary in sustainable and regenerative living. Simon’s innovative approach to food is deeply rooted in his ‘New Earth Living’ philosophy, which is an integrated model for more sustainable, regenerative, and empowered living. Bumi Cinta offers a vegetarian buffet for breakfast, lunch and supper with the option to add fish or chicken to lunch + supper meals for $10 USD per meal, 24 hrs notice to retreat centre to add animal protein. They are also able to cater to Vegan, DF and GF dietary requirements

We have included FIVE specially selected immersive experiences offered by Bumi Cinta Bali. These excursions are hosted by the retreat centre and are designed to enrich our time in Bali and experience all it has to offer! More details on each excursion offering is listed below.
Luxury ECO-Friendly Center
Bumi Cinta aims to serve as a model for responsible travel and inspire others to follow suit. Some ways that the retreat centre contributes to the environment are through their waste management, energy efficiency, preservation of natural landscapes and wild life conservation. They also employ locally and provide ongoing training and liveable wages for their staff.

ELANG HUTS
The huts nestle together, creating a cozy village feel. These semi-open rooms (about 26.5 square meters) resemble bird nests integrated into the hillside. Built with bamboo and grass roofs, they blend seamlessly with nature. The bathrooms feature partially open ceilings, giving the impression of showering in the jungle. Refreshing cold spring water flows from the showers, enhancing the natural experience. There are 6 of these rooms available and are only double occupancy.
DOUBLE OCCUPANCY — $2115 USD PER PERSON
KUTILANG BUNGALOWS
These bungalows (approx. 41 square meters) have a semi-open structure with the roof formed by two light curves superimposed one on top of the other and supported by bamboo pillars. The bedroom, open to the nature (with curtains), takes advantage of the natural light and views, while the bathroom area is closed off by a curved stone wall leaving the hot water shower without a roof to look at the stars or sky. Each bungalow has a large private garden and chill out area. There are 4 of these rooms available.

GELATIK VILLA
The Bumi Cinta Villa (with approx. 58 square meters) floats above mango trees and has expansive views of the Bali Sea. It consists of a luxury bath room , open bedroom and living area, kitchenette, terrace and private garden area. There is only 1 villa available on the property. It is available for double occupancy only.

Excursions
We have hand selected FIVE excursions designed to elevate your retreat experience. All excursions that are included are optional, however if you choose not to attend there will not be any refunds given. Since we have 11 nights total at the resort there will still be 6 full days on the property with ample time for free time/rest + reflection.
DISCOVER UBUD
Embark on a scenic journey from Bumi Cinta, travelling through the mountains of Kintamani with panoramic views of Mount Batur, Lake Batur and the majestic summit of Gunung Agung. Along the route, explore vibrant fruit stalls and charming rice fields. Choose to wander the ancient Kawi Monuments in a lush valley or visit the mystical Goa Gajah (elephant cave) Temple. Experience the lively heart of Ubud for shopping. Conclude with the famous Tegalalang rice terraces where traditional wood carvers and artists bring Bali’s heritage to life.
GO LOCAL
Start at the lively Singara Market where exotic fruits, spices and handmade treasures await. Unwind next at Banjar Hot Springs, nestled in lush gardens and soak in its soothing 38 degrees celsius mineral rich waters. Then, visit a serene Buddhist temple adorned with intricate carvings, followed by the sacred Beji Water Temple set amid Bali’s green landscapes. This immersive excursion promises a harmonious blend of cultural discovery and relaxation, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of North Bali’s beauty and spirituality.
WATER CEREMONY
Follow a scenic path, letting the soothing sounds of rustling leaves, birdsong and cascading water guide you into a calm, meditative state. Slow down, open your senses and discover nature’s hidden details. Experience a sacred Balinese Water Ceremony led by a local priest. offering your handmade canning in ritual. As you near the majestic waterfall, feel the air shift with tranquility, creating a serene space for reflection and connection with nature.
HOT SPRINGS & TEMPLE
This journey blends spiritual discovery, cultural appreciation and serene relaxation, creating a meaningful experience of North Bali’s sacred beauty. Visit intricately designed Hindu Temples, ornate Chinese Shrines and peaceful Buddhist Sanctuaries. Each offering a glimpse into unique traditions. Along the coast, enjoy a soothing soak in holy hot springs, a gentle retreat for body and soul. Guided storytelling adds depth, revealing the connections that weave through Bali’s diverse beliefs.
RITUAL TO PURIFY
This journey offers a deeply spiritual experience, crafted in harmony with Balinese Hindu tradition. There main purpose is to dissolve illusions and clear obstacles from the mind. Guided by a local priest, the ceremony begins on the beach where two sacred waters meet in a hidden natural temple: spring water from the mountain temple, symbolizing feminine energy, and ocean water, symbolizing masculine energy. This union creates a blissful sense of harmony. The ritual continues with a meditative sound journey inside an ancient temple by the beach. Our guide will provide translations and all the insights needed to fully engage in this transformative experience.
Pricing includes the cost of all accommodations, 3 meals per day plus light snacks, coffee + tea, airport transfer to retreat centre, 5 excursion experiences and daily yoga/meditation. Please note that if you want protein added to your meals, the resort asks that you let them know 24 hrs prior. It is an additional $10USD per meal for chicken or fish. Gratuities are not included in pricing but is encouraged. Flights are NOT included in the pricing. Current rates are averaging between $1400-1800 CAD for this year around our departure time. As pricing becomes available we will do our best to acquire group pricing // keep you up to date on seat sales. Please note that it is a lengthy flight (approx 27hrs). We will have 11 nights at the retreat centre (May 17-28), the additional dates are days of travel.
Yoga and meditation will be available daily. On days of planned excursions yoga + meditation schedule will vary. There are additional experiences for you to purchase through the retreat centre. A spa is also on site if you would like to indulge in some extra self care while you are there!
